hi, i'm jimmy.
i am trying to splint together an old braun csv-60. my hearing is so bad that i can,t tell this from my old quad amp. i have bought a new set of tesla pl-500 tubes for it, but now i think the output transformers are gone. i do,nt have any knowledge of electronics but a friend assures me that it is just a question of careful soldering. another friend told me to burn it. |

I'm sure you know about this: I overcome my own hearing deficiencies with those Bose noise canceling headphones ... take 'em on a trip to cut the "snow" and crowd noise out of those atrocious airport/airplane PA systems ... folks just think you are listening to your iPod

I enlist the help of my daughter and have her rate the sound of speakers using a online hearing test where she adjusts the the frequency bands to sound equal strenght and I get a frequency curve going up to 20.000hz She is 12.
