Default The snowy hayfield

Hi,
I work at a procedure for restotre the spatial sonic field physically. But I have seen, hardly somewhere is interestet at such solution, most people by the opinion the true spatial audio wouldn`t be the goal, pleasent perception would be sufficiently.

What are your opinion regarding that statement, since today at my website?:

2.1 Two different goals
Hardly another topic so extensively described and discussed in all possible directions, as the range of audio. Endless disputes trying to check out the question, if the loudspeaker cables rather than the loudspeaker spikes reason for best spatial impression. Besides, there is a deep disagreement about the goal of the audio reproduction. On leading opinion states, the reproduction alone a product of art, conditioned by the goal of the most pleasant perception. Another group should like to reach reproduction near the genuine impression, including the actual acoustic impression of the concert hall.
Studio productions today deliver really pleasantly results, each single voice or each instrument often more clearly audible as at the live event. On the other hand, we are not able for convincingly reproducing the hum of a bee right under ones nose or the clarity of single voice in proper acoustics, even less the gooseflesh which obtain us in Brahms concert when introducing the horns.

Final goal of audio procedures should be both, the possibility for finish each single sound source under artistic aspects, as well as reproducing the true spatial impression of any arbitrary sound source in any genuine environment. During the first goal is reached in conventional audio, we are far away from true spatial reproduction of arbitrary sonic field until today. However, as far as we would able for establishing such procedure, delivering congruent structure of wave fronts at dedicated point in recording room as at the listener in home cinema, under artistic aspects would arise breathtaking possibilities. The decision between “true spatial audio” or “much better as true spatial audio” would remain alone in mood of the producer.

The model for spatial soundfiled is describe then as huge amount of loudspeakers at a snowy hayfield. That deliver a graspable imagination for the spatial sonic field in concert hall. Is important for grasp the problems, read it if you have the time...
