I have soldered together a Piezo pickup for acoustic guitar/violin. The piezo part came from a piezo buzzer this works really well just straight into the 15w practice amp.
I would like to put together a preamp..I have practically no electronics knowlege..with some control over the sound. My soldering is fine..heatsinks etc.
Any advice would be welcome (1st post Wales UK)

Thanks for your info mjf. After the post.. I am reading the link pages but my understanding so far is poor.. not a electrical soul ..but I am learning. The Piezo part varies in size therefore properties which may affect the preamp circit. Easy for you tech folk magga hard for me..I well build something with the possibility to experiment with values..
