What's a good online place to buy DIY amp kits? Either tubes or chip amp??? Been looking for a while now but there's always something missing like the power supply or it doesn't come with a case etc... I mostly want to build one to learn and has to be usable as well 100W and up.

That's why they are called kits !
You get most of the parts but have to supply something. Plenty of places to buy cases usually better designed than those that come with complete sets. Or build your own .. plenty of excellent examples on the forum. Anyway, don't you have a kit already ?? .

I just Googled DIY Amp Kits, and Ta - Da! So, I haven't built any of these and can't comment on sound from experience. Though, I'm sure the Borbely kits are very high quality and sound good.

Borbely"s kits are pc boards and seperate power suply kits.
They are very, very good and somewhat expensive but worth it. They are not for beginners. |
