I have a Kenwood KR-930B receiver I recently saved from going to the dump. Does anyone have any information on this unit? I'm drawing a blank on Google other than a few Craigslisters and dozens of service manual posts.
I have the users manual, I'm just looking for general information. Was it considered a decent receiver or a POS? I know it was made sometime in early 1980's. My wife had a friend in the Air Force buy it for her on one of his trips to Japan. I believe it's an "international" model since it has switches for, " FM De-Emphasis" and "FM Channel Space" which the manual claims, "Units shipped to the USA and Canada..." were not equipped. It seems to work OK. I used Deoxit on all the switches, attenuator, and pots and that cleared up all the scratching and popping. Anyone have any information or links for this unit?

Should be able to find info, or find someone who knows where to look, on Audiokarma Home Audio Stereo Forums.

Thanks Glowbug, I tried there already. Only one post asking me to get some pictures, which I have not had time for yet. Was trying to widen my search.
