Hello all

As the title states, I am seeking any info that you can offer regarding an 18" Altoparlante "Hi Fi" that I just obtained.

I have no info at all, and most of what I find online is in Italian, which might as well be Greek to me.

I know my request is vague, so thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Alto means "loud" and parlante means "speaker".
1 inch is 2,5 centimeters.
As pianoforte means "slow" and "fast", Hi-fi means that some fabrication procedures has been taken to guarantee a good quality in sound reproduction, when excited by an electric signal.
If the object you own is round , doesn't present visible signs of time or damages , has electrical continuity and when softly pressed doesn't scratch or something, then you can say that you have a very big woofer!
BTW We call them woofer, tweeter and midrange in Italy.
