I think it's called democracy. I don't think think regulating everything everyone says on the internet is a good idea. I think it would be a bureaucratic nightmare and only some would get picked out and prosecuted and picked on, while others wouldn't get touched. It's not enforceable and a bad idea, IMO.
I mean do doctors tell patients, I'm going to get a financial kickback for running this or that test. Do they say this drug company gave some free samples of a drug and I'd like to try it. Or say that this representative from a drug company took me out to dinner to tell me about these great drugs before he prescribes them. It happens. Then someone takes some new drug and has a bad reaction and the doctor says "sorry." Happened to someone I know. If they want to fix something, they should eliminate these unethical practices. Socialism? What about the Feudalism, where the wealthy landowners had great control over the government and people. At least in a democratic government you have a say about what laws your going to live under. Or do we just hand over the country to wealthy special interests with there lobbyists. If you don't like a law jump up and down and fight it. But, this idea that the government should have no influence on business is just simple mindedness. |
