Looking for LC75384NE-R or LC75410E IC Source

I am looking to buy a Sanyo LC75384NE-R IC or a LC75410E and i can't seem to find a place that has any. these are discontinued but have been used in many many items. I have googled them to death and found lots of Bid/parts houses where you have to buy $2-300 worth of parts etc. but no single suppliers.

Anyone have a source?? I need one!

What does it do? WHat is it used in?

I remember looking for some LED VU meter driver IC from Sanyo, I kept running into it in gear. FOund out that the part was never imported or sold in the USA. It only came here in equipment built in Asia.

But if it is consumer stuff, maybe look for dead equipment to rob the part from?

Its from a Nakamichi TD-35Z car deck. its a digital volume controller IC. I have no idea how to find out what other brands it may have been used in except another Nak deck.

OK going through Sanyo US has been very frustrating. I cant seem to get this part in the US. SO i am HOPING that one of our DIYaudio friends in another country can help me get a few of these IC's. I need two now! I forgot i have another TD-45Z sitting in a box that needs one also!

HELP! if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
