Nice link audiodesign. I could see putting a DRV135 and INA134 on a surfboard and wiring / ziptying it right to one of those Leviton Quickport RJ45 jacks.

Funny! I just finished up a project that uses the DRV135 and the INA143.

I'm using Cat5e (shielded) cabling to run balanced and line-level audio across long distances at a cathedral in St. Louis. Thought I'd post the link here for anyone interested.

XLR over Cat5 - Balanced XLR Mic-Level & Line-Level Audio over Cat5 & Cat5e Cabling | Life is a Prayer.com

I haven't done anything with power, but might in the future. I'm very interested in most any way I can put more signals over Cat5.

It kind of is the miracle cable. We use it for so many things at work.
Here's a short list:

10/100/1000 Ethernet (Duh)
Digital Phone System
Low voltage control
4ch composite video distribution via baluns
VGA/HDMI/Component video via baluns or converters
Balanced analog audio via baluns
Unbalanced analog audio via baluns
Digital Audio via Ethersound (Yamaha Digital Products)
Digital Audio via AES50 (Midas Digital Consoles)
We just started using it for 4ch wired com (Clear-com)
Digital wired com (Riedel)
The list keeps growing!
