When I log on at the index page here:

..... and see that some of the usernames for members "currently on-line" turn grey instead of blue?

For me, they go grey if I've visited their profile page withing the last 9 days (= the expirey period of my cache)

If they are grayed and you didn't visit their profile, I have no answer.

I'm reminded of Mrs Phipps, who on first encountering Dr Amos Weatherby, cheerily said: "Hi! I'm Mrs Phipps - your Grey Lady".
To which he replied; "You'll be a black and blue lady if you don't get out of my way!"
