Pardon this seemingly stoopid post but I just need confirmation and reassurance that my translations of the following capacitor values are correct. Its from a vintage Pioneer tubed receiver.
Spec on original caps a) 0.05M 4007Y b) 0.02uF 400V (polarized) c) 0.01uF 400V d) 201K 400V e) 501K 400V Spec on replacement caps a) 47nF 400V b) 22nF 400V c) 15nF 400V d) 200pF 400V e) 500pF 400V Some of these are polarized. Would it matter to replace a polarized capacitor to a NP in an audio circuit? TIA - GD |

Hi,
Looks OK to me. But you could use a 10n for the 0.01uF. Caps of this value range are unlikely polarized... more likely the line or whatever is indicating the outside foil. Cheers! |
