I was at the local pawnbroker today, he had a Apex(yorkville) mono 31 band 2 RU eq with adjustable hi/low cut off's and a VU meter. Anyways it cost me $59. I don't have it here yet as I didn't have enough cash on me to grab it so I layed it away.
It looks JUST like this apex dual 15 band eq except that it's 31 straight bands with obviously only 1 VU meter on the right side http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/ele/1113715721.html So was my $59 tax in investment worth it? Can anyone give me some insight on this eq on or possibly what it may have costed new? Thanks for looking |

Well I got the eq, IT seems to work great.
IT's apex by yorkville AQ2. Here it is, and specs, http://www.djequipments.com/productV...productID=3143 Let me know what you all think for $60 if it was worth it. |

If you want a 31-band single EQ, then sure.
Nothing better than coming across interesting deals in person, anyway. |

Worth it? Do you like it? Then it was worth every penny. I picked up a 20 dollar 4 channel mixer at a fleamarket and couldn't be happier even though I only use it occasionally to do some light DJ work.

Thanks guys,
yes it seems to be a quality eq. everything is tight, good sound, adds no extra audible distortion. I can't complain that's for sure! |
