I do have a copy of the manual somewhere, even after all this time these are still very nice, quick and neutral power amps, much better than the Rotel 1070 that I was using for my mid-range.

But then I have never owned or even listened to any of the modern high end amplifiers, way out of my budget

After this post, actually quite a while after, have pulled the Trio's out of storage and connected my cheap TT, and I have a low earth hum, I'm going to make a cable up in the next few days and see if connecting the 2 power amps together helps

Hi,
one of the biggest attractions of monoblocks is the freedom from interconnected Audio Grounds.
The next most important is lack of interaction between the channels.
