find a dead printer from a computer store thay have small steping
psu that will fit. 12v 5v 3v i would post a pic but my cam died

one sec ill find one dam no go on that anyway allso old scanners
have a psu in em to that works..

good luck ill look it up later to see how it came out

I NEED full ATX... I modified a toggle power switch to be momentary and I like how the computer turn itself off.. Also, I am going to use a relay to switch the mains to the amplifer transformer, either whenever teh compuetr is on, or control it by the parallel port..

cool sounds good just remember the voltages gota be right on no
voltage dropes or spikes or the board will go caboom
the vrm on the board are sensitive to that

Yeah man, I know what I'm doing... I have a 150watt PU that I pulled out of the metal case, its still not low enough... I'd like to replace the transformer with a lower one, and cut off the heatsink, but the transformer used isn't the same as in most ATX powersupplie (the windings and pins that is) So...... Perhaps I should consider making a switchmode powersupply from scratch?

i would get a dead laptop (or a really old one) and use the parts out of that. you could then use the power supply...
