Hey there, I'm making a portable boombox at the moment and before I build the enclosure, I was wondering if I could do something about the buzz I get when my phone (which I use as the audio input so is always nearby) gets a txt message or connects to the mobile network.
Would I be able to shield the speakers by lining the interior walls of the enclosure with some sheet metal? Would this have any detrimental effect on sound? Thanks for any help or other suggestions. |

Digital amplifiers are almost completely immune to EMI. If you don't have a digital output on your device, I've heard that hybrids do almost as well.
