can i replace mosfet with other N-mos

Hello

I have a little problem, with a power supply from a computer.

I have I have a broken transistor N-channel mos-fet

the part number is fqpf5n50c

but i have'nt this part

Can you tell me please if i can replace it with this N-channel mos-fet part number:IRFBC40

or STP3NC60FP,

Why did it break?
Was it below spec?
Or was it driven beyond spec?

Maybe you need to consider how to make it reliable before deciding on the specification of the replacement.

I don't know why it was broken because I recovered the power supply.

But i think that's the dust in the power supply blow the n-mos

so do you know "with the datasheet " if it was possible to replace the original N-mos fqpf5n50c with one of theses parts IRFBC40 or STP3NC60FP
