I know it sounds like an oxymoron (and probably is), but is anyone familiar with an on-demand service for short runs (20 or less) for vinyl lps?
My motivation is purely vanity. I've recorded quite a bit of original music over the years, but there's nothing better (IMO) than popping a vinyl record on the player and sitting back to enjoy the sound. It would be a real kick to take some of my favorite recordings and give them a spin. Thoughts? With the resurgence of vinyl in the U.S., I have to believe that someone has come up with a way to do it. But I realize this is a very precise science, and a "cutter-in-a-box" solution, if such an animal exists, would likely have somewhat diminished quality. Give me a holler should you hear anything. Thanks! |

I vaguely remember something like that offered by a member on The Gear Page. A musician forum like that would be your best bet I think.
Good luck! |
