I am working on a yamaha cr-3020 rec. I have noticed that it takes 1-2 minutes for the relays to kick in when powering up the rec after sitting overnight, Unit plays fine and bias and offset can both be set. If you turn off/on rec again the wait is only a few seconds.
Rail voltages are fin also. Can someone tell me if this is normal for this HUGE unit. 160WPC. Have been told the big "caps"are getting old and need replacing.27000uf/81v Thanks for any help given. |
