Im running Linux/Ubuntu on my laptop, keeping all my music on it FLAC compressed, the question i have is this.
how do i configure Gstreamer to resample the 16bit/44.1khz Flac into 24bit/192khz output - directly ( alsasink ) to the soundcard, the processor is powerfull enough to convert a cdrip into 24/192 flac at 1.4 speed so it should decode fast enough ( Dualcore ) there must be some way to reconfigure Gstreamer's settings to make it do the conversion at output instead of converting to a file first, id appreciate any kind of help or hintUnregistered Thanks a bunch guys .... remember this is not for windows ( not yet anyway !! ) |
