Help identify RCA7852, RCA7902

:smash: I have two 3-pin metal can IC's or transistors or regulators used in a power supply kit that are schematically shown as transistors. One is NPN and the other PNP.
The Numbers are across the top- RCAIA15 middle-RCA bottom- 7852 and on the other across the top- RCAIA16 middle- RCA bottom- 7902
Which one is P and which is N? I can't find them anywhere.

Transistors have junctions and you can check them as you would a diode. To get used to doing this check a known transistor for example and practice with other types.... TO3, TO92... ect....
Your unknowns will have unique specs and readings but the generalities will be like other transistors, PNP or NPN.
