Hello audio experts,
My Sugden A28B amp makes noise in the left channel when I operate the volume control (only when the amp is at operation temp). So I ordered a new potentiometer I blamed for it, soldered it in (I am a mechanical engineer) and guess what?? Problem still there. Then I inspected the PCB's and yes! I found on the left channel amp a capacitor with one loose leg. So soldered it on the PCB again. It was ok for a month or so. Now the problem is back. Can anyone tell me what to do? I know it is a pre historic amp but it makes a nice fit with my pre historic B&W DM14 speakers. Thank you in advance for your suggestions! Regards, Sjaak |
