Hello,

My current system is a totem arro speakers driven by one Rega Cursa(pré) + Maia 85w (Power).
I have to change the speaker position  and the sound is a little boomy :bawling: in the 50Hz.

What should i do to stop this and without losing fidelity ;) ?
I don´t know if this is rigth.
Can i use this ?
Or should i go with an Active filter?

( Have you tried adding stuffing to the ports? )

Yes, it degrades (a little) the midle freq.

Initialy i was thinking of buying the storm Sub. To control the bass but it is to expensive :hot: , so I was thinking there must be a cheaper way :D .

Is it ok to try the circuit ??

(sorry I don't know your speaker, but if it's a sealed box you could use this DIY. )

Its ported like this one.

I think you are right, only on some CD´s the booommm appears, like thivery corporation, and others maybe :bawling: not so well recorded.

( Is there eq on this or is everything flat?)

everything flat

(P.S. It would be best to show the model of the woofer (> edit too small for a woofer) and the box tuning.)

I was thinking, between the pre-amp. and the power.
