Hello,
My current system is a totem arro speakers driven by one Rega Cursa(pré) + Maia 85w (Power).
I have to change the speaker position and the sound is a little boomy in the 50Hz.
What should i do to stop this and without losing fidelity ?
I don´t know if this is rigth.
Can i use this ?
Or should i go with an Active filter?

sorry I don't know your speaker, but if it's a sealed box you could use this DIY.

( Have you tried adding stuffing to the ports? )
Yes, it degrades (a little) the midle freq.
Initialy i was thinking of buying the storm Sub. To control the bass but it is to expensive , so I was thinking there must be a cheaper way .
Is it ok to try the circuit ??

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't know the lower port was for weight only.
"the Arro is a narrow rear-ported 2-way tower with a lower faux port for sand or shot filling and an upper acoustic port with a 4.5" diameter multi-layer mid/woofer and a ¾" soft-dome tweeter [above]."

Yes you may.
P.S. It would be best to show the model of the woofer and the box tuning.
(> edit too small for a woofer)
Since the thing is so small perhaps you are driving it past Xmax for a bad (boomy) sound.
I think you are right, only on some CD´s the booommm appears, like thivery corporation, and others maybe not so well recorded.
( Is there eq on this or is everything flat?)
everything flat
(P.S. It would be best to show the model of the woofer (> edit too small for a woofer) and the box tuning.)
I was thinking, between the pre-amp. and the power.
