I have a Sony CDP-C3055 disk CD changer. It skips and repeats when I turn up the volume. The changer is on a stable base, so that's not the problem. Would getting a lense cleaner help? Other advice?

Check voltage in outlet.

What should the voltage be? Never had any problems with the outlet before.
