FM IC in Mcintosh MX113 tuner-pre

Hi all,

Does anyone know the replacement part number of the IC101 and IC102 for the Mcintosh MX113? These two IC are on the IF board and they are 14 pin DIP with Mcintosh part number "133-002", thanks!

Hi I realise that this is a very old post but did you ever find a source for the IC's for your MX-113.
I have the same problem!

I checked my service manual and from the offset pins on the chip, it looks like it may have been one of the early Motorola MFC (Motorola Functional Circuit) chips, which unless Mac might have kept a few I'd opine that you are out of luck.

I haven't done any cross referencing but you might do some research on the 3028 style of differential amp chips use din IF circuits. I'd bet the IC you're looking for is simply a repackaged one of those.
