I was there yesterday, a friend of mine was presenting the paper. Talking about audio celebrities, I was introduced to Richard Small!

Siegfried Linkwitz was there, I chatted with him and reminded him to have a presentation ready for BAF. He promised!

Also went to an interesting presentation by Dimitri on optimized/enhanced cascodes. VERY interesting.
Wo else did I meet, let's see, Ian McNeil, Dimitri, Wavebourne, Ed Simon, Siegfried Linkwitz, Bill Waslo, lots of intesting people!
I had a great day!

Some here might know Jim Williams from Linear technology, he had an interesting presentation about Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard's very first product, the HP 200 audio oscillator. These guys decided to build a company and oscillator based on some strange and new principle called 'negative feedback'... This was at a time when Harold Black needed 8 years to get his nfb patent issued because the patent office thought it couln't work and Harry was a crackpot. What do you know...

Tomorrow I hope to meet more of interesting people...
I'll be there from 10 to 1:30 pm

By the way, is there a parking nearby?

Another interesting day, got to meet John Curl! Great!

Then a character stopped by the booth I'm in (1133) and proudly showed the schematic diagram of his preamp - tatoo-ed on his arm. Now there's dedication!

I was there when Janneman took the picture. Another guy joked that it's the way to prove the authorship of the topology.
I''d been waiting for SY when JC and Dimitri approached the stand and gone...
