I've been looking for a free and simple converter so I can share my music on the net... something that will provide me with an url after it's been converted . Any ideas, recommendations?
Thank You. - Joxx |

Yes, my own music - I've just begun creating some beats on FL studio.

Your best best is to convert them to MP3, buy some webspace and domain name then upload the files. You could do a website too if you wanted.
WinLAME will convert the WAV to MP3.

I don't know of any converter that also uploads to the net and provides a url. But there must be sites that host music for people that want their music "out there". |

MySpace is a host of sorts. You'd need to take out an artist account (its free) and then you can upload at least 4 tracks to thier webspace. Get lots of hits since its a well known site but unfortunately it compresses your MP3s even further and they usually sound quite bad from MySpace (some people know how to do it well, I don't).
http://www.myspace.com/plushrest Over to the right it has "Artist signup" link if you want to join Playing MP3s on a PC can be done through Windows media player or Winamp (both of which you can download free). |

Ok, I downloaded WinLame and encoded an audio file, but how do I put it out there so everyone can listen?

No, I haven't. I just want to host the audio file like hosting images.. click & play - so a mini bar turns up.
