When I read the forums and see all the bickering, I often think these people need some persepective. I recently saw this in Nordic's signature line:
DIYaudio member's daughter needs a lung transplant, please help. http://www.helenward.org.za/ Gives a person some perspective real fast, I think we can all agree. I believe in voluntary socialism (sharing guided by one's spirit) in theory, however, I know and tell my children that it will never work in practice. On the other hand I hope that it does for this young girl. It seems that it would not be difficult for companies such as Harman International, Sony, Dolby and many others to help this young lady. I certainly know that it is not the norm for large corporations, but why not? Pete B. |
