Hi,
Is anyone familiar with the DRMES20D recorder. I have one that is 2 yr old and intermitantly causing problems. I only use DVD RAM Disc's-- Verbatim caddy type, actually Panasonic discs inside. Symptoms are that when starting a timer recording (usually this is when fault shows) a self check message appears on the display, the machine then locks up and the process repeats. Putting another disc in and the machine will work, however this has only just started happening and I can't see several discs all failing at once. The machine is clean, well ventilated and free standing. The DVD drive has had the lens cleaned with correct fluid and the turntable is clean. The fault is very intermitant. Anyone any thought's, are there any PSU issues on this model. Thanks Karl |
