Jan Axelson has a new version of Serial Port Complete -- dealing with using RS232 485 in a USB world. Like all her other books it is highly readable, and there are examples on her web site -- www.lvr.com
Lots of stuff for working in the dot.net environment etc., etc. if you don't want to write roll your own or use FTDI chips this is a great book to have. (Make sure you get the Second Edition if you order it, however.) |
