Callnig all New Zealanders

After nearly 13yrs in the UK, I'm packing up clothes, family, and a ton of surplus heatsinks (*) and heading back home to NZ..

So I'm wondering what the DIY / Audiophile scene is like there now? I remember going to meetings of the Auckland Audio Society back in the mid 90's, are they still going?

Have there been any DIY BBQs or other social events?

(*) couldn't bear to part with them, we're sending back a part 20ft container so have TONS of room for my junk/treasure! ;-)
