Well did this thread ever bomb! I guess (as it was for me) that it's just hard...and maybe pointless to grade something and put it within a certain time.

DestroyerX brings a welcome blast of sunshine and joy to a grey and wet English winter. He never fails to make me smile with his sheer love of life and everything else.

It's my signature. I heard that today at university, and it's absolute truth.

I dunno, maybe the release of the firstwatt stuff?

2007 was my first full year of diyaudio, and it was expensive.

I thought this thread was a clanger.

i need some openions....please give me feed back...speaker design...

Some of it had me in stitches and has it all.... drama, tantrums, how to post, how not to post, members helping and going beyond the call of duty.... how a thread that went off the rails ended up cool in the end. It's a shame it never had a conclusion with a speaker built (AFAIK).

Worth a read if you get a chance. Just make sure you are not drinking coffee or tea when you read some of the posts as I remember spraying the monitor with tea on more than one occasion.

When bear posted this:
Wanted: Simple soft start circuit

And made me rethink everything about soft start circuits...
