I didn't know where else to post this question because it's not specific to any other sub-forum so..... here goes
I have an Adcom gcd 575 I use as an input mainly for a modified T-amp, I run it out of the fixed RCA's, never any problem . The other day I ran a line into my Yamaha receiver from the digital coax output and it sounds great through that amp/receiver and into my klipsch speakers, but........ now I get no signal at the analog jacks and I am puzzled as to what may have happened. There is no setting that switches the outputs but it seems to only be sending signal through the digital out. I also tried the variable analog and it's dead too. Any Ideas, I'm puzzled. Thanks |

Hi,
Open it up and inspect where the wires solder onto the back of the RCAs. Maybe the RCAs got damaged or the wires let loose! Use a continuity tester to confirm. Good luck! Regards//Keith

There could be a D/A switch (digital / analog).
Or the input was reasigned to Digital. If you cannot locate either then unplug the unit for at least 120sec. This will often reset the unit. |
