Cheap digital audio sender? (>5 metres)

Anyone come across a cheap <35 bluetooth, 2.4ghz or other digital audio sender modules?

It's not for an ipod, or a computer, but does need to accept line-level or headphone level input source. Also needs to run from 12v or lower.

I heard once (but never confirmed) that you can send 44.1khz stereo audio over 2.4 ghz video transmitters. You would need coaxial SP/DIF output to feed the video transmitter.
