carbon fiber to make chassis

Hello, I hope that this can be the right forum.

I was wandering about the conductivity properties of the carbon fiber, I expected a very lower one.

The question is: can it be used to make chassis for electronic devices, using his electrical properties to shield the circuit?

Is it only an electrostatic shield or it can be useful to avoid inducted electromagnetic noise (e.g. hums)?

I'd like to use it for a valve amplifier with a particular shape, it should be quite easy to make it in carbon fiber (and very difficult in metal)...:D
