Default Damn

Just used Apex's online eStore for the first time tonight and encountered the following purchase agreement:

Please read the following statements, and respond by clicking on your answer at the bottom: I am purchasing for use in the United States. I am not a citizen, national, or resident of, and am not under the control of the government of: Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Montenegro, North Korea, Pakistan, Serbia, Sudan, Syria, nor any other country to which the United States has prohibited export. I will not order Product for direct shipment or for use in Manufactured Products or otherwise export or re-export the Products, directly, or indirectly, to the above mentioned countries, nor to citizens, nationals or residents of those countries. I am not listed on the United States Department of Treasury lists of Specially Designated Nationals, Specially Designated Terrorists and Specially Designated Narcotic Traffickers, nor am I listed on the United States Department of Commerce Table of Denial Orders. I will not download or otherwise export or re-export the Products, directly or indirectly, to persons on the above mentioned lists. I will not use the Products for, and will not allow the Products to be used for, any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, for the development, design, manufacture or production of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons of mass destruction.

Wonder if you get any visitors if you click on the "Disagree" button.

Just click the “Agree” button and forget the agreement.

If you were sued, just told them this:

“I have been years working with Microsoft products, and I have learnt that you don’t need to bother yourself to read every words on the screen. There usually be 2 buttons, YES or NO, SUBMIT or CANCEL. And as a result of a Process Excellence training, I’m told that what I need is to choose any of “Yes”, “Submit”, “OK” or “Agree” button. If I choose the wrong button, I would soon know, and have the “Back” or “Cancel” button ready for me.

If they ever create “OK” and “CANCEL” buttons below a statement such as: You are going to blow down the White House, that should not be under my responsibility either.”

Could be, I would like to know more about this issue.
Maybe some states in US oblige the company’s, others don't..

Reminds me a bit of the problem we had here in Belgium 20-30 years ago; Some pubs placed a board on their windows stating: "Forbidden to Nord-Africans". Now these boards are forbidden. I know that doesn't mean some pubs permit the Nord-Africans more than before.
But that's off-topic, and the link with economic sanctions is also incorrect; It just reminded me.
