Toggle Switch Guards???

Anyone know where to get toggle switch guards???

the items i am looking for are hard to describe. they are like a circle folded in half with the toggle switch handle in the middle. the sides bend outward to form side panels.

Anyone know what im trying to describe? I cant seem to find them at Digi or Jameco or apex.

Want to build a Saturn V capsule control panel

Yes, I saw them on military gear and old radar equipments.

You may need to get them from industrial or electrical distributor.

For example, I found at http://www.mcmaster.com/
catalogue page 830, toggle switch accessories, a switch guard, part No: 1143T1, $14.30 each. It fits big switch 15/32 hole.

Should be easy enough to make with a piece of brass plate...

These guards are nice, if not a bit pricey. There are quite a few different colors available.
