unshielded speakers and computers

hey guys.

i have a 12 inch car subwoofer that i want to use with a computer, and i have two questions before i start:

Can the speaker magnet mess up the computer (not the screen, just the parts in the tower) and

IF i was to put the computer on top of the subwoofer box, would the vibrations cause any problems??

Doesn't know the speaker's power, by this speaker magnet
should not effect parts inside the tower.

Yes, depend on speaker power or vibration may course to
hard disk.

i once heard that a speaker magnet too close to the hard drive causes bad sectors

is that true??

Speakers too close to a magnet is open to debate. Yes, it can, but will it definitely do this? I don't know. I prefer to err on the side of safety and just not do this.

However, a subwoofer WILL cause problems due to the vibrations as opposed to the magnet.
