Hey guys, I'm new at this (obviously) and would just like to know how to make a simple IC/Sound Module/Chip for a Musical Greeting Card? I've pretty much googled all the names this thing may come by...I'm just stumped! For starters, I don't even know the right name to call it and how to actually make one (parts and tools needed). Plan is simple, make a greeting card that can record real music and all that. Any advice or leads would greatly be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Maybe one of these kits would work out for you...

Radio Shack sometimes carries an analog recording IC. It is usually sold in a kit and comes with a mic and speaker and all the parts to assemble the kit.
If you think this might be what you are lokking for then send me an email and I will try and find the IC part number for you. |

Do you want to be able to record your own sound or just something pre programmed? I seen one of the electronic suppliers carried pre programmed ic's for boxes like below but I can't remember which one.
