This is an outstanding free simulator and schematic capture program.
This Analog Devices/National Instruments version is limited to 25 parts and there are some other limitations, but it is well worth having. For newbies, it's a great way to learn about electronics without any smoke and flames. Check it out. http://www.analog.com/multisim |

There's a lot of test engineers that are extremely PO'ed at them. |

I've been using Multisim Pro for some weeks now and it is very nice. I like all of the virtual test equipment it comes with. I'm having a bit of a hard time learning it's partner Ultiboard though.

Well, the ADI/NI version is worth downloading as Analog has put a lot more models than were available through their website -- and other goodies as well.

Maybe you'll have to put in Windows in your Mac like I have done.

Anyone that ever had some hands-on experience with UB knows. It is one of the most counter intuitive programs I have ever seen in this area.
Recently I have had some hands-on experience with Protel. Not easy to master but compared to Protel, UB is toy. The professional version of Multisim will finally cost you nearly a 5000,- euros. If it is a upgraded version of EW then there is much better on the marked for that price IMO. Cheers |
