hello im new to the site and i hope i posted this in the right section. well im rebuilding my big ghettoblaster and changing a few things. i what to know if i can up the wattage of the system and whats the best ohm to go to for the best portable sound. its got 8" woofers and 2" tweeters. and how do i build a crossover for the system. thanx for any help you can give me.

I'm afraid it's a little too complex to just give you answers like that.
To up the wattage, you up the amplifier. Not something easy to do for a beginner.
Crossovers are designed for the specific drivers. It will already have some form of crossover or you would have blown the tweeters. What is is you want to do with a crossover?
Ohms are a unit of impedance and there isn't a best or they would all be the same.
