You know how the current trend in commercial home theater has become to make the speakers smaller, fewer or more stylish at the cost of everything else, well Sony has obliged to present this: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/mini-5'1/...s10-263214.php
Now i saw this at circuit city about 2 days ago and found the sound to be extremely boring. the little speakers had no desire whatsoever to create involving, detailed or impactful music. they were only one step above the two speakers in my Sony SXRD rear projection TV. i will admit they were unique because of their size, the reciever and ipod dock looked extremely sleek and the sound's best attribute was its clarity; but at 800 USD there are many better choices that blend size and performance. |
