Default Work of Art Thread

i saw there was a thread for ugly people, ugly amps, but no dedicated amp for beautiful works of art. post your pieces that you are proud of. (peter, only 1 post per day )

as soon as i have something to show, i will contribute. my amps are still ongoing, but i think everyone will be please. im putting a lot of time and effort into them.

Similar to your avatar? Then we can expect real shiny beauties.

Very good idea, will encourage the lazy ones (like myself)

Since I couldn't decide which one of mine to post, here's something I found on a forum. Definitely work of art.

Default Art etc

Well, to be honest, the amp & preamp are my doing.
The front panels are made by a Norwegian artist which I met years ago and developed a friendly relationship with.
Its Helgi Joensen, born on the Far Oer islands, now residing in what I think is the most beautiful mansion in Old Stavanger. Check out www.helgijoensen.no.

I have many pieces of art from him. My amplifiers are absolutely stunning, the pics don't do justice to them.

You are killing me. You all!

Actually, my JLH rebuild is coming out nice... it has took much more than i expected because job/study has been sucking way too much of my spare time. Still, it'll nowhere as glorious looking as those two amps.

Was that done to remedy an accident OR was it thought out in advance?
