I don' know how many of yo got to see tonight's total Lunar Eclipse, but it was a good one.
The moon is about 1/2 way back to light as I write this, very good viewing thru binoculars. Totality lasted a long time. Hope some of the other Loonies here got to see it.

I didn't even know, the news was reporting more important things, Like Lindsay Lohan and all that other important stuff.
I am on the East Coast and don't even know if we could have seen it! "Got to keep the loonies on the path"

I was too sleepy to watch it start, so I got up at 4:00AM to watch it re-appear. Very cool!

I got to see it just as the moon was reappearing. Thank goodness for falling asleep on the couch.

I went outside at 5:45AM EDST in Cleveland but:
Too many street lights and too many trees, so I never found the moon.

Here in Hawaii it was at midnight. Good for me, as that's when I get off work.
You lads in OZ, how high above the horizon was the moon at 8PM? Was it low? In Hawaii it was very high, near zenith and slightly south, as it was midnight. Cal, glad you got to see it!
