Hey everyone i am very new to the speaker building world. I am trying to rebuild an old set of radioshack nova-5 speakers.. I have a good ammount of audio experience in the car audio world, but this is completely different. The speakers have one 8 in woofer and a tweeter. I wanted some sugestions on how to go about doing this. and what drivers and crossovers i sould use, or evean how to build a crossover. I am espically confused about the crossovers. My budget is around 150 per speaker, give or take a little. i am goin more for clarity here. Sometimes i dont play loud though, but it still has to be clear I am used to listening to infinity kappa perfercts. something with that kinda sound would be nice. i listen to all kinds of music. I was thinking of maybe using tang band speakers. i dono though.. Just wanted some input from the best thanks guys. Here is a link to my car check it out maybe this will help thanks again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ffCnyCUQrw
