Well my last post on this generated little interest so I renamed it to make it more flashy.
Will anyone be attending the Montreal Sound and Image show the last few days of March 28-30, Friday-Sunday. Probably the best high end show in North America (some say better than CES as it is more esoteric). www.hifiexpo.com I lunch\dinner\etc. for all us boring Hifi-diyers may be in order. Montreal is a great place to bring the spouse as well, though I generally would not suggest the end of March for a time to visit. If you are coming up from the U.S., the prices will seem dirt cheap. Dave,
if somebody in my country (and in my language) will declare my place "the wrong end of the country", I will probably visit him with a stick in my hand... or does it just mean "the other end of the country" ? /Klaus - who likes both Vancouver Island & Montreal |

I hear Montreal is very nice* -- i was only there once for Expo '67 and it is a bit back in time. Quebec City i have been to more recently and it, Victoria, and Halifax are probably 3 of the best mid-size cities in Canada. * i hear that about Vancouver too -- but it is too big for me. dave

if this is an excuse to try Cuisine Montrealaise, perhaps I'll bite (is that the correct form of the genitive?)
