Default Interesting (?) component info

I just saw in a catalogue that Vishay make zero ohm resistors with 1% tolerance. That's great news. I've always been worried that my zero Ohm resistors might be off by some 5 or 10 %. I am still curious, though, about the effects of using one where the value falls within the lower half of the tolerance range.

Thanks for the find. I may get a bank of matched units to power my next project.

You put all those on the lefthand side of the bellcurve aside and send them to me - my power bill is a killer! (will trade for lefthanded screwdrivers and my large pile of nails with the heads on the wrong end).

Not worth it. Really, how often does one need to nail something on upside down
