Question Why does it rain?

I have always wondered why it does rain.

Is it because I have done sometihing bad?
Or why am I denied to have sunshine all the time?

I have not yet figured this out.
So I would appriceate any answers shining a light on this...
What have I or anyone done wrong..
to deserve the course of rain falling?

halo - in deep worrying about the "unwelcome rain" problem

Why Does It Always Rain On Me?

I can't sleep tonight
Everybody saying everything's alright
Still I can't close my eyes
I'm seeing a tunnel at the end of all these lights

Sunny days
Where have you gone?
I get the strangest feeling you belong
Why does it always rain on me?
Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?
Why does it always rain on me?
Even when the sun is shining
I can't avoid the lightning

I can't stand myself
I'm being held up by an invisible man
Still life on a shelf when
I got my mind on something else

Sunny days
Where have you gone?
I get the strangest feeling you belong
Why does it always rain on me?
Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?
Why does it always rain on me?
Even when the sun is shining
I can't avoid the lightning

Oh, where did the blue skies go?
And why is it raining so?
It's so cold
I can't sleep tonight
Everybody's saying everything's all right
Still I can't close my eyes
I'm seeing a tunnel at the end of the lights

Sunny days
Where have you gone?
I get the strangest feeling you belong
Why does it always rain on me?
Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?
Even when the sun is shining
I can't avoid the lightning
Oh, where did the blue skies go?
And why is it raining so?
It's so cold
Why does it always rain on me?
Why does it always rain on....

- Mamunia - by Paul McCartney
on the Super Terrific! album Band on The Run

It might have been a bright, blue day,
but rain clouds had to come this way.
They're watering everything that they can see.

A seed is waiting in the earth
for rain to come to give him birth.
It's all he really needs to set him free.

The next time you see rain clouds, don't complain,
it rains for you and me.

So lay down your umbrella, strip off your plastic mac,
you've never felt the rain, my friend,
till you've felt it running down your back..

The next time you see rain clouds, don't complain, it rains for you and me.
The next time you see rain clouds, don't complain, it rains for you and me.

Mamunia...

It's from an old (1920's?) song:

Yes! we have no bananas!
We have no bananas today!
We have string beans and onions,
CabBAges and scallions
And all kinds of fruit and say,
We have an old fashioned toMAHto,
A Long Island poTAHto, but
Yes! We have no bananas!
We have no bananas today!

Sorry for being off-topic but the one with the bananas reminds me from this one:

In the former German Democratic Republic a customer went to the food department of a large shop and asked the staff:
"Excuse me - haven't you got any bananas ?"
"No Sir ! Here you'll get no apples - no bananas are over there !"

No appples - no bananas.
Isolated behind the Wall.

Well the East-German people did it good
that managed to survived - inspite of the Dictatorship put upon them

Well done!
ordinary people of the east - the Soviet Block

No force can in the end keep humans from the desire to be free
to live their lives in the way they chose to live

halo - born in a free country - thank god for that
