This is not intended as trolling.
If you go to my thread Micro Minature Camera you will see close up photos of what is suspected to be a wireless coupled micro sized covert spy camera. It was found in the entrance lobby of a particular establishment by the night cleaner. Does anybody have experience, or any clues to the origin of this device. Thanks, Eric.

Is the open end with circuits shown in the photos the "business end" of the "camera"? If so it doesn't look like it has any decent optical properties that would make it a useful camera. The chip doesn't appear to be mounted under the hole in the top cover. Is there even a lens?
If it transmitted images, it couldn't transmit them very far, or for very long, with such small batteries. Instead of a transmitter it might have a receiver (RF or IR) and memory chip so that it records an image or two upon remote command, if it is a camera. It would then have to be retrieved by someone later, but there doesn't appear to be any way to download an image from it. Maybe IR LED output? I'm don't know what it is, but I don't think it's a camera. MR

Hi eric,
If it is a camera it should have a lens (optics). I did not see a lens. From what I make of the circuit it seems very simple. Could it be just a simple microphone with wireless transmitter, low powered?
