~AC~ easy line/RF filter + surge supressor schematic wanted

Hi,

I have a very basic idea, but wondering if anyone knows of an effective yet easy to build AC line filter plan. Would like it to be low impedance, allowing for up to a 15A draw. Have no clue about inductor values for something like this...

Less important, also maybe a schematic something equal to a brickwall type surge suppressor.

Just want to build something better than what you can buy in any junky big-box store.

Lol, @junky big-box store... something you will want to look at is the space that you are designing for the rf filter to be placed into also as far as inductor values go you may want something with a higher output than your base low impedance. a filtered 15A IEC socket will cost you less than $10... just saying...
